The Temple Christian Academy original logo had been around many years, and it looked like it had been scanned and turned into eps art a couple times. They asked us to take a look and see if we could create something more contemporary as well as something they could use moving forward on team uniforms.
We wanted the logo to feel strong and contemporary without being angry or aggressive.
After researching many types of warriors, the knights and crusaders still felt like the right choice. It was not only familiar to the athletic crowd but also familiar to Temple. We really liked the idea of seeing the face of the warrior rather than being covered. It was time for some color studies.
