Hubbell Lighting National Sales Meeting
Meeting Theme + Strategic Planning + Branding + Event Management + Print and Digital Collateral + Audio Visual Development
The Alliance Distributor program combines Hubbell Lighting’s major stocking brands into one purchasing program. Hubbell wanted to reinvigorate their presentation of the program materials to its Sales Agents and Distributors. We had a total audience of over 100 participants for two days to absorb speeches from stakeholders and product pitches from the five stocking brands.

AGENT RECEPTION
As the Agents arrived we set up a unique reception for them to participate in. We went all in for a good time at the Alliance Invitational Texas Hold ‘em Poker Tournament. We saw who knows how to hold ‘em and knows when to fold ‘em.
Meeting Opening
To kick-off the meeting and introduce the Hubbell President, Scott Muse, we shot and edited a video that mimicked live news coverage of a political national convention. The opening video was so realistic that many of the meeting attendees thought the reporter was with an actual local news channel.
The reporter from this video also conducted roving interviews of the Agents during the two day event. These snippets were edited into a meeting closing video or smile module that played at the closing of the event.
Hearts and Minds
We made use of the election theme in a variety of innovative ways. We borrowed a half dozen voting booths from the county government and designed our own Ballot. The participants were able to cast votes and make comments on a variety of lighting related topics. They were also treated to some positioning statements and attack ads on the internal website.
MEETING CLOSING
Throughout the event we had a roving news reporter with sets of questions relating to the material being presented at that time. We had a project evolving simultaneously as the B Roll was shot at a local editing house. It made for a couple late nights but the laughs and applause as the participants filed out was well worth the time invested.
